Volunteering
Volunteer at the Whalehead Club and join a group of dedicated individuals who love what they do! You will have an opportunity to learn and teach the unique history of the northern Outer Banks. Enjoy spectacular waterfront views, meeting intriguing people from all over the world, work in a grand 1925 Art Nouveau styled building filled with surprises. Volunteers are appreciated for any time they can spare and are qualified to receive special discounts in the Museum Shop. A small stipend is also offered to help offset the cost of travel. Whalehead Club volunteers work in an ongoing educational environment!
You can help us by volunteering at the Whalehead Club in the following capacities:
- Help with annual events at Currituck Heritage Park, including the Arts Festivals, Wine Festivals, Summer Concerts in July and August, etc.
- Be a Docent and help with tours and assist guests.
- Get involved in one of the many projects at Currituck Heritage Park! Check out the rain gardens just planted with help from a group of great volunteers!
