Picnics & Pavilion Use

With beautiful green lawns, large shade trees, and gorgeous views, Currituck Heritage Park is a great place to have a family picnic. There are several picnic tables scattered throughout the park. These are on a first come, first serve basis. If you prefer, you are welcome to bring a blanket or lawn chairs, spread out and relax! We also have one Picnic Pavilion located inside the park which can seat up to approximately 48 people and is available by reservation only. There is no fee for use of the picnic pavilion, however a refundable security deposit of $25.00 is collected in advance to ensure that proper care and cleaning of the pavilion has been performed at the close of your event. Picnic Pavilion Policies & Reservations

Currituck Heritage Park has something to offer most everyone. Spend the day in Corolla, check out the park, Historic Corolla Village, maybe grab a bite at one of the local eateries, or pack a lunch and dine by the water. But above all else – RELAX and ENJOY!

*Currituck County does not permit alcohol in the public parks, unless as part of a special event hosted and permitted by the Whalehead Club.
