What a wonderful way to enjoy the holiday with family and friends! Come see what Santa brought to Whalehead and share Christmastime with the Knights. The house will be festive and elegantly decorated, and our hosts will set the scenes that bring the Knight's Christmas story to life. Share the traditions of the staff from their home countries of Portugal, England and Germany. Visit the basement and delight in viewing a model train that shows the Knight's journey from Philadelphia to Corolla and Christmas trees decorated by Currituck students illustrating popular literature for the time period.

Gather up the family and join us for a day of great beach music by Band of Oz, The Tams, The Crowd and Steve Owens & Summertime. Tickets are $20 each or $150 for groups of 10. Picnics and 5 quart coolers (that fit a 6-pack of soda) are encouraged. Larger coolers will be allowed for a $10 fee. Food, beer, wine and refreshments will be available for purchase. * Limit one free cooler per person. Join us on the North Lawn for the illumination of the Currituck Beach Lighthouse and Currituck Heritage Park. Water's Edge Village School and Currituck County High School Chorus will sing outside and then move inside to be accompanied by Mrs. Knight's sketch Steinway piano. Bundle up and bring your singing voice!

Every Tuesday evening from 6 PM to 8PM- July 9th - August 27th

Relax on the South Lawn on your blanket or chair and watch the sunset over the Currituck Sound as you listen to great local talent! No alcohol is permitted to be brought into the park, but not to worry! Whalehead will be selling glasses and bottles of wine as well as beer to quench your thirst. Frozen treats from Honey's Ice Cream and Rita's Italian Ice will be available as well. Pets on leashes are welcome, and admission and parking are free.

Every Wednesday from 3 PM - 7 PM (May 29- Oct. 9) . Join the Whalehead Gallery, Sanctuary Vineyards, Vineyards on the Scuppernong and Corolla Wine, Cigar and Gourmet as we present local, national, and internation wines in a beautiful setting. With your admission, you will receive a discounted coupon for our audio interpretation tour of Whalehead and a souvenir wine glass to sample all the featured wines. Admission to the wine festival is free for non-drinking adults and children. Bring the entire family to enjoy local talen every week! Local delicacies and bruschetta from Northern Lights Bakery will be available to purchase as you sip wine and watch the glorious sunset over the Currituck Sound. There will be fun kite acitivities for children and pets on a leash are welcome. Parking is free!
